Guardrail
Posts
STEEL
OF WEST VIRGINIA supplies the structural posts used
in the highway safety industry. These guardrail
posts are driven into the ground at set intervals,
and the corrugated guardrail is then attached. Material
is supplied as ASTM A36 with a restricted chemistry
suitable for galvanizing. Two sizes are standard:
6 inches at 8.5 pounds per foot and 3 inches at
5.7 pounds per foot. ASTM A588 is also available.
