Pay of $19.30 per hour (after you work a brief probationary period). Excellent Health Care (at $80 per month premium for family coverage). Automatic Company pay into 401(k) plan. Electrician candidates must possess and be able to demonstrate successful electrical trouble shooting experience, including instrumentation and AC/DC motor controls.

Millwright candidates must have diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining industrial equipment and be able to demonstrate required skills through testing. PLANT PRODUCTION WORKER

A rare opportunity now exists to join the team at Steel of West Virginia in Huntington. Pay of $17.80 per hour (after you work a brief probationary period). Excellent Health Care (at $80 per month premium for family coverage). Automatic Company pay into 401(k) plan. Cash Profit Sharing Plans.

Production Workers at our plant recycle scrap steel in electric arc furnaces then continuously cast billets of steel which are hot rolled on one of our two rolling mills. Production Workers at our finishing lines then custom finish structural beams, channels, and special shape steel sections to customer specifications.

You must be able to do physically demanding work at extremes of heat and cold; have a minimum of two years industrial experience or vocational training; possess a high school diploma or GED; and be drug free.

Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer will work in our Steel Mill’s Engineering Department. Duties include technical assistance to facility maintenance personnel, project management, and machinery design/detailing for the entire facility and production support. Plant equipment includes electric arc furnaces, a continuous caster, rolling mills, robotic welding, and various other fabrication lines. Applicant should have the desire for hands on experience with a self-starter mentality. We offer you the opportunity to utilize your engineering expertise in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Steel Mill Supervisor We seek career minded individuals to supervise production in our successful operations in Huntington, West Virginia. We offer you the opportunity to utilize your supervisor skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

  Production Clerk
The Production Clerk maintains our finished inventory count including computer records. You will work outdoors in an industrial environment and be involved in inventory control. This is a full time career opportunity with benefits.

Melt Shop Laboratory Technician
The Lab Technicians operate a carbon analyzer and two spectrometers to obtain metal chemistries; communicate with caster crews in the Melt Shop; operate tensile machine to accomplish physical testing; and trouble shoot testing equipment.
