Supervisor – Rolling Mill

Steel of West Virginia, Inc. does not have management opportunities come open very often as we have very low turnover.  However, due to additional demand for our products, Steel of West Virginia, Inc. has an available position for a rolling supervisor on the night shift on our #2 Mill.  This Supervisor will manage an hourly unionized crew of eighteen employees working on our #2 Mill.

We are seeking a seasoned production supervisor with a background doing hands on supervision in a heavy manufacturing continuous production process. The ideal candidate would have experience as a rolling supervisor for an in line mini-mill. Especially applicable would be experience rolling merchant products and light weight structural beams. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent people skills, strong math and mechanical abilities and the energy to excel. Steel mill experience preferred, but not a requirement. A background with mechanical engineering studies also preferred.

CNC LATHE OPERATORS

Steel of West Virginia, Inc. has an opportunity for CNC Lathe Operators to turn rolls for our rolling mills. $19.30 an hour plus our outstanding benefits package, including cash bonuses. Must have meaningful experience on CNC lathes (including proficiency in the use of micrometers and calipers) along with mechanical ability, blueprint reading ability, programming experience on CNC’s and computer skills.
